In a shocking incident at the Raipur Railway Station on 6th March 2024, CRPF Jawan HC/SK Girish Kumar from Cobra Battalion 202 had a terrifying experience. Let’s delve into the details of what transpired on that fateful day.


Girish Kumar alighted from the Gondwana Express at Raipur Railway Station after a 40-day leave. Little did he know that the events that followed would be nothing short of a nightmare.

While booking a bus ticket at a nearby counter for his journey to Koraput at 10:30 pm, Girish Kumar encountered a man named Mishra who claimed to be an army personnel. Mishra suggested they share a room at a nearby hotel as both their buses were scheduled at different timings.

After sharing a cigarette with Mishra, Girish Kumar fell unconscious for a couple of hours. During this time, Mishra maliciously recorded inappropriate videos of Girish Kumar and threatened to viral them if he did not pay him Rs. 20,000.

As soon as the incident came to light, Girish Kumar was escorted to the Koraput 202 headquarters for questioning and investigation. A formal complaint was lodged at the Gangthan Police Station in Raipur, and the SHO assured prompt action and justice.
