It has been said in the issued letter that it was found that many jawans upload videos and photos in uniform. Apart from this, chat messages are also sent to many people.
An official note has also warned of action if the guidelines are not followed. Similarly, Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora has also issued a letter asking the jawans to never post comments related to arrested persons or under trial persons on social media. It has also been said in this letter that jawans should not make videos in highly protected areas and upload them on social media.
He also said that social media should not be used while on duty. Also, do not share any sensitive information on social media.
